While I was passing through, Kiel James Patrick had just opened their store's doors and I was lucky enough to visit!
I met Bennie and it was possibly the best day of my life! Kiel was in the store that day, but he's quite popular that one, so I didn't get a chance to say hello and get that selfie! ;) Another time, perhaps! I adore Kiel & Sarah's brand and love following their adventures!
They're who inspired me to go to Newport in the first place! Hope you enjoy the photos! :)
It is SO happy with flowers there!
Definately five star service. The staff was so attentive and awesome. We ordered roomservice the first morning there and the lobster scramble. MY. Lanta. it was SO delish! We ordered it every morning after that!
Our hotel is just a few paces from Bowen's Wharf, where you will find oodles of shopping and delicious food.
It's the softest tee! He loves it!
It was SO goood. I had the most delicious "Lobstah" roll! It was beyond yummy. A friend suggested I request for a warm lobster roll v. the cold salad version that most places serve.
OH MY GOODNESS. Big, juicy chunks of lobster on a grilled buttered roll. Are you drooling yet? Just keep scrolling....
While they look picture perfect, I wasn't a fan. I did try, though! Not one but TWO. So I'm happy with myself. Haha.
Oh my heart. What I would do for another one of these delicious rolls right now!
Served with melted butter, cucumber salad and a pickle spear. The most beautiful seaside meal!
This is the church where John F. Kennedy, Jr., and Jackie were married. So dreamy!
I am sorry about the lenth of this post! I just had way too many gorgeous photos I couldn't leave any out! I hope you find them as gorgeous as I do. Newport is so very rich in history. This post would have been TOO long if I'd have expounded on every thing that I learned whilst here. I just wanted to share with you the visual beauty. I do hope, though, that if you haven't been, you will plan a trip. I promise it will be worth every penny spent! I was there in June and the temperature never reached 75 and didn't fall below 60..until dark... ;) It was perfect!
Okay, come back tomorrow night for Part II, where I will take you IN the Breakers as well as Marble House with me!
Comment below and let me know what you think!
Have you been to Newport? If so, what did you do and what did you like most about it?!
