Hello everyone! Finally getting around to this little Charlston photo diary! I have been working on this for so long now, and I'm so excited to share the photos from my trip to the South with Brittney! I hope you enjoy!
The first day started out with wandering the streets and getting the feel of this beautiful new city. We started at The Battery and wandered into the neighborhoods. South of Broad, all the way to up to King Street.

This home was by far my most favorite of all the homes in Charleston. Whilst I appreciated all the houses, not one was unappealing, this was my most favorite. I love the crisp white, the pillars, the haint blue trim, and the blue door! I love it all!
On our first full day in Charlston, we had Millers All Day for breakfast.
The coffee, sweet tea, and food stuffs were super tasty!

I had the yogurt parfait and Brittney opted for the pancakes!
Beautiful Miss Brittney!
The decor was super cute- loved the mid-century vibe!

After our breakfast we continued wandering around the quaint streets of CHS.
Popping into shops, antique shops and finding the most gorgeous lightfixtures! I found plenty I wanted to bring home with me. Unfortunately, my wallet couldn't afford to do so. There wasn't much under about $1,000.00. Most of the lighting was over $10k.
So we window shopped, oohed and awed over all the gorgeous chandelier, sconces, tables, paintings, mirrors, and other knick knacks!

We then made a quick trip back to the hotel to freshen up and get ready for dinner.
We started to make our way to Poogan's Porch- but first, car selfie! #basic ♥

Don't mind my hair. My natural curls and the 750% humidity didn't mesh well.
I chose the Lump Crabcakes and they were SO delicious. I wish I had a plate of them right now! The lump crab was melt in your mouth and there was more than I expected! Usually other place skimp on the crab, but skimp they did NOT!
I was in all the crabby heaven! They sat on a bed of creamed corn, asparagas and a lemony dressing of sorts. #gimme

The pineapple fountain was thee cutest!
These swings lined half of the boardwalk and we waited and waited for so long for one to open up to get a picture! Lol.
If you made it here to the end, I commend you! This post has been extremely long but I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do!
It was one of the most beautiful trips I have taken! Definately one of my favorites to date.
Come back soon for Part II!
xoxo,
Cass
