I was lucky enough to spend this weekend with my favorite people.
Little Layla Grace (also know as my "mini me") stayed the weekend and we had a "big girl" Friday night out. We had Icee's and went shopping where we found thee CUTEST denim pencil skirt in just Layla's size. Naturally when she seen it and it was like the one Auntie Cass has, she had to have it! She's a hoot to shop with. At the young tender age of 4, she's already a gal who knows exactly what she wants and sees to it that most of the time she gets it. Such a little diva! Since I'm her aunt I usually give in and get her most everything she thinks she needs...there comes a time when I say "no" and then I'm the devil but only for a second. She's usually over it pretty fast. Haha.

Lydia's Dress: Fresh Produce
Funny Story about the yellow dress Layla's wearing in the last photo... she fell IN LOVE with the dress, she was begging and begging for it. I asked her if she'd like to try it on to make sure she liked it- after all, that's what us big girls do.
"Yes Cassi, I want to try it on. Because I'm not a little girl anymore. Mommy tries on clothes too!"
We get in there and she starts to put the dress on and is like "Ughhhhh." I said "What? Do you hate it?" she replied with "The armpits are broken Cass, I want to take it off RIGHT NOW." I couldn't help but laugh because the dress had cap sleeves and she described it as 'broken armpits'. Haha. I made her smile for a picture though, notice the fake smile and pose. ;)
She told the lady that worked there that the dress was broken and she needed to have it fixed. She didn't get why the rest of us thought it was so funny!
I trust you all had a wonderful weekend and hope you have a great start to this new week.
