Plus a recipe for White Chocolate Mocha Sauce
Today, I'm sharing with you a fun recipe for White Chocolate Mocha sauce!
Typically, I enjoy my coffee straight black. I'm not a fan of super sweet coffee and I can't do a whole lot of cream due to my dairy allergy, so it is usually pretty simple.
However, my friend Lana makes this sauce for her coffee and every time I talk to her in the morning she says
"I'm having coffee with my WCM sauce!".
In that super adorable Tennessee accent of hers. Seriously, I die a little when she talks! It's so awesome.
She makes it look and sound soo yummy, I had to make it myself. I only put a tiny amount in my coffee, but it is still SO yummy!
2 (300ml) cans sweetened condensed milk
1 (14oz) can evaporated milk
3/4 C. sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 teaspoon instant espresso
6 ounces white chocolate (I used the chips- they melt faster)
Mix (with wire whisk in a deep sauce pan) milks, sugar, vanilla over medium heat until lightly simmering.
Add in white chocolate, continue whisking then add in espresso powder keep whisking some more.
Remove from heat and let cool. Pour into bottle(s) and refrigerate.
You may need to let it get to room temperature at the end of the bottle.
** I added 1/4 cup of sugar and it is pretty sweet. I think it'd be fine without extra sugar since there's sweetened condensed milk.
However, if you like it very sweet, by all means add all the sugar!
