CADBURY CREME EGG CROISSANTS!
It looked so easy (with the precious little time on my weekends, easy and fast recipes are my favorite kind. I don't even care if I cheat and use store bought items;) so I gave it a whirl and they are positively scrumptious.
I found the original recipe on this lovely lady's blog and immediately tried it!
Cadbury Creme Eggs, I also used some Cadbudy Caramel Eggs as well
1 egg
1 can of Pillsbury Cresent Rolls
A bowl, a fork and basting brush
**Note: pictured are the "Big & Buttery" Pillsbury Cresent Rolls as my grocer was out of the original. They were still very tasty, but I would try the original. These had a not so authentic buttery taste.**
Pop them in to a 350 degree for about 10-12 mins. Let stand about 5 minutes before tearing into them.
I hope that if you do too, you'll try this recipe! I feel that if I had the right Cresent Rolls, they would have looked much prettier.
They tasted really yummy though. Next time, I'll work on the presentation of the actual croissant rolls. Hehe.
Happy Almost Easter!
